AA Insurance and Suncorp New Zealand, leading insurance providers, embarked on a joint digital transformation journey to enhance customer experience and streamline their operations. As part of this initiative, both organizations partnered with N2N Solutions, a renowned technology consulting firm, to develop an Online Insurance Quoting and New Business Application.

This case study highlights the role played by N2N Solutions’ Technical Business Analyst (BA) in successfully delivering the project for both AA Insurance and Suncorp New Zealand.

AA Insurance, a joint venture between the New Zealand Automobile Association and Vero Insurance New Zealand Limited, provides a wide range of insurance products and services. Suncorp New Zealand is part of the Suncorp Group, a leading financial services provider in Australia and New Zealand, offering insurance, banking, and wealth management solutions.

Challenge

Both AA Insurance and Suncorp New Zealand recognized the need to enhance their insurance quoting and new business processes by implementing a user-friendly and efficient online application. The objective was to provide customers with a seamless digital experience, allowing them to obtain insurance quotes, submit applications, and complete new policy purchases conveniently. N2N Solutions was tasked with providing a skilled Technical Business Analyst to drive the development of the application for both organizations.

Solution

N2N Solutions assigned a highly capable Technical Business Analyst with expertise in digital transformation projects and insurance domain knowledge to collaborate closely with AA Insurance and Suncorp New Zealand teams. The BA played a pivotal role in both projects, undertaking the following key responsibilities:
